Who are we?

Hello and Welcome to the family. Victory’s Service Dog Ranch is all about saving lives and providing second chances. For us this means being able to provide an affordable Service Dog training without having to sacrifice high quality training. As a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, we have worked hard to provide the best combination of in-depth, and in-person group training that our members deserve at low cost - thanks to the generous donations of others.

Our Founder and current President Chris Affolter suffers from a multitude of war time disabilities from serving in the United State Marine Corp. One of the most prominent of these being PTSD. After realizing with his family that medication and therapy were not going to be enough, they sought out a different type of therapy. Victory’s Ranch was born the moment Chris met a sweet pup named Victory. She would not only become a member of the family; she would become Chris’ saving grace in a time of need. There was an immediate change in Chris’ behavior. What was seemingly endless nightmares were subdued by just the mere presence of Victory. In search of a place to get Victory trained as a Service Animal the Affolter’s found there was a huge need for affordable Service Animal training in the United States. Veterans and other disabled members of our communities are being overlooked due to lack of insurance, money, or lack of urgency with most Service Animal companies. Every day on average 22 Veterans commit suicide due to multiple reasons such as PTSD, failing to adjust back into society, and not being able to cope with their past service or current daily life. Not only do Service Animals greatly help with these issues, they also assist in their handler’s ability to become more self-sufficient and confident, hence our slogan “From Paws to Purpose.” Service Animals are not just part of your family, they improve the purpose and quality of life to those they serve. Victory’s Ranch is here to make all of this possible for anyone in any background, with any financial situation. With one of the most affordable service dog training programs nation wide, we are making the dream of having the necessary help in someone’s life a reality. All across the United States people are waiting years just to be told that they do not qualify for a Service Animal. We believe that everyone deserves a chance. Our main mission is to support Veterans, First Responder’s, and disabled youth in the communities we serve across the nation. Victory’s Ranch is more than just providing a Service Animal, it is about providing a supportive community for those desperately in need of one. The majority of Service Animal companies train your dog without you there and then release you to fend for yourself. Victory’s Ranch is about bonding the handler with their Service Animal and creating a community of people to support you before, during, and after training classes. Our commitment to you is lifelong. While classes will be in high demand, we offer waiting programs to allow our participants, and their families, to feel involved and supported long before their classes start. These programs will consist of Equine Therapy, and various recreational activities to include archery and shooting ranges, ropes courses, hiking, fishing, kayaking, camping and much more.
